Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Poor Customer Service

Dear Edmond W. Mah, Charles W. Rogers

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint about a recent experience I had at your Family Pool Hall located at in Katy Texas. On June 8, 2024 my family and I encountered extremely poor customer service that has left me deeply disappointed and dissatisfied. We come here often and have never once had a bad experience until June 8, 2024.

During my visit, I observed and experienced several issues, including:
1. Favoritism: It was apparent that certain customers were being given preferential treatment over others, which is both unprofessional and unfair. Some customers were able to bring food and others couldn’t we were ones that could not.
  
  The management, Trey Reyer, poorly handled the situation. He aggressively came up to my husband, my teenage daughter, and I, and started cursing at us. Our response was "OK, we understand but your approach of cursing at us in front of customers was unacceptable. We are customers also. We were not the only ones with food, and we haven’t opened the bag at all yet. We respect all establishments. Trey the manager said we were "running our fucking mouths" (his terms) and walked off. This was not true. We were respectful. He told us to "shut the fuck up" (again, his terms).
2. Unprofessional Behavior: Trey is not a good manager, and is very poorly experienced. Trey only disregarded basic courtesy.
3. Raised Voice: Trey raised his voice at customers, which is highly unprofessional and unacceptable behavior in any customer service setting.
  
  These actions reflect a severe lack of training and professionalism, and they have significantly tarnished my perception of your company. I believe all customers deserve to be treated with respect and courtesy, irrespective of the circumstances.
I request that this matter be investigated promptly, and appropriate actions be taken to ensure such incidents do not recur. Additionally, I would appreciate a follow-up on the measures implemented to address this issue.

My profession is Human Resources and I can assure you this is not a good example for your establishment.

I got feedback from customers who have known Trey for a while and they said that this is the way he is. He's been here for 15 years or longer. That does not make it right at all. They said they have seen him run-off African American customers calling them the N-word. I think is very very disturbing in a beautiful family pool hall.

You may consider finding a new manager because this could be a liability for your company.
