United States Professional Poolplayers Association is a billiards term that is a part of Organization Terminology.
The governing body for the sport of men's professional pool (pocket billiards) in the USA is the United States Professional Poolplayers Association (UPA), in conjunction with the World Pool-Billiard Association (WPA) and its US-national affiliate, the Billiard Congress of America (BCA).
The United States Professional Poolplayers Association headquarters is based in Phoenix, AZ and was founded in 2002 by Frank Alvarez III and Darrin Brown.
As of January 2018, the UPA has pocket billiard pool leagues in 17 states across the USA.
