Definition of Triple
Triple is a billiards term that is a part of Billiard Technique Terminology.
Triple is a cue sport term used primarily in the United Kingdom to refer to a type of bank shot in which an object ball strikes two cushions before being potted. It especially applies to the act of sending the object ball two times across the table before potting it in the side pocket.

Triple - Usage
Although it may have looked like a technically difficult shot, triples are generally not that difficult a shot to make in a billiard game.
