Definition of Race
Race is a billiards term that is a part of Scoring Terminology.
A race is initiated by players agreeing to a number of games for a win. Each of the players then race so that they can be the first to win the required number of games. Essentially, a race is a predetermined number of games a player must win in a set in order to win that set.
