Definition of Hit
Hit is a billiards term that is a part of Billiard Technique Terminology.
Referring to how one might hit the cue ball. Additionally, it is often used to describe how a cue plays. A player might ask another player if a particular cue hits well?
Hit - Usage
Does your new cue hit well? You have to hit the cue ball with some english. Try to get a good solid hit on the cue ball and you'll send the 2 ball right in to the side pocket.
