Definition of Front Runner
Front Runner is a billiards slang term that is a part of Skill Level Terminology.
Front runner is a saying that refers to a pool player's ability to win a race when he is already ahead by a several games. A player who is labeled a front runner is already ahead in the set, and will likely continue this way until victory is reached. A player who is a front runner will not likely lose the set.
