Definition of Feather
Feather is a billiards term that is a part of Billiard Technique Terminology.
Feather refers to an extremely thin cut shot during which the cue ball barely brushes the edge of the object ball. The feather is performed by shooting the cue ball toward the periphery of the object ball so that only the edges of each ball come in to contact.

Feather - Usage
Just feather that a little and you should bump the object ball straight to the right and in to the pocket.
