Definition of Check Side
Check Side is a billiards term that is a part of Billiard Technique Terminology.
A type of cue ball spin utilized to cause the cue ball to rebound from a cushion at and angle which is shallower than the angle would be it if the spin had not been used.
Check Side - Usage
Richard put some check side spin on the cue ball so that the angle would be less steep once it rebounded off of the cushion.
