Definition of Brain Lock
Brain Lock is a billiards term that is a part of Skill Level Terminology.
Brain lock is unfortunate phenomenon where a situation occurs that causes a player under pressure to forget completely how to run out in a situation that would normally be very conducive to a run out.

It looks like Steve had a momentary brain lock.
