Definition of Artistic Pool
Artistic Pool is a billiards term that is a part of Cue Sport Game Name Terminology.
A relatively new term applied to the art of trick shooting. Artistic pool players perform trick shots on a pocket billiards table. There are also artistic pool competitions, which are gaining popularity, and are often televised. Artistic billiards also refers to a game which requires skill in the carom billiards discipline. In Artistic Billiards, players compete at performing 76 preset artistic billiard shots of varying difficulty. It is also known as fantasy billiards or fantaisie classique billiards.
