6 Pocket Billiards Game and New 6 Pocket Pool League

I am excited to tell all of you about the new league game called 6 pocket billiards. Founded by Dick Clark of Alabama, this game is a fresh new way to have even competition on all levels of talent.

The pro spokesman for this league is "Mr. 400", John Schmidt. He is #1 in the USA and was at my house a few weeks ago. What a player! He is also a great guy.

The web site for the league is 6pocketleague.com if you want the rules and more info, I did a quick couple of youtube videos on this as well. Just go to that site and search for 6 pocket or my username geno3682000.

    So whats the deal with the trademark after the game's name? I also see that it is "patent pending", according to the site? Is it the rules that are pending a patent?

    I'd love to know the purpose of registering the trademark and filing the patent. Specifically what actions would someone have to take for you to exercise the legal rights of the trademark or patent?

    Just curious, and also, we typically don't allow blatant advertising like what you've posted, but it seems like a well organized, well intentioned group.

    I will leave the ad live if I get an agreement to allow us to post the rules in our rules section, free and clear of any liability, financial or otherwise. Let me know within 24h, and for now, I've asked the moderators to leave your ad alone.

    Thanks for the reply. Please understand that I did not intend to advertise any business as it may have seemed. I am an avid player of the new game and have invested in it's future for the 83 million amateur players out there looking for fair competition. Some of the questions you asked should be addressed by the founder, Dick Clark. He should be here in a little while and I will get him to either register on this forum or reply to this post on my login. I appreciate your kindness and am looking forward to more conversation with you.

    Our patent is on the game of 6 Pocket itself along with our Level Play Handicap formula and the concept of how the scoring, handicap and game all work together. Our attorney is Kennith Bush from Birmingham AL.

    We have trademarked the names by the IP laws and we are in the process of having the different Logos, branding slogans and phrases as registered trademarks. I own the IP and license it to 6 Pocket Inc. of which I own 51%.

    By doing what we have done legally, it allows us to license 6 Pocket for different functions, tournaments and league play.
