Looking into purchasing 20 tables

Hello everyone,

Me and my friend are looking into opening a pool hall, and need about 20 tables for the location, obviously we would like to spend as little as possible but we are also looking to have quality tournament ready tables, we were wondering if anyone had any recommendations as to what we should purchase, and if possible, maybe a site where we could buy them. Any advice would be appreciated.

    Google used pool tables for sale, and you will find many links, and some of the tables are of high quality.

    You are looknig to purchase about 20 tables and open a pool hall and go into business. You are doomed before you start when you plan to not spend a lot of money in the process. Before you even open your doors you are planning to use cheap second hand tables which will not hold up to a lot of play over time. You will also come to realize that knowlegable players will detect the cheap tables after a few racks of play. The tables will not respond the way a good table will and your customers won't be customers for very long.

    You want to invest money in a business....do it wisely.

    Two names come to mind. Jay Helfert and realkingcobra. Google them. Jay is out of country right now, Manila. The Cobra is the man to set up your tables.

    Where are you located? If you are near the east coast Jay Spielberg ( who is partners with Glenn "RealKingCobra" in their video production company) has plenty of Gold Crowns as well as cheaper tables like the Gandy Big G. You can open a room for cheap these days. When I opened my room even used Gold Crowns were pulling top dollar.
