Building a DIY Snooker Table

I'm coming back home next month and I plan to reorganize my garage and install a snooker table.

I'd like to make a DIY snooker table, and any advice is appreciated.

I looked up some ideas on Pinterest and other sites, and read some "beginner" articles about building and leveling pool tables, but I still have many questions about the materials and sizes.

I've only played in bars, and I'm not a professional player. Neither a woodworker. Still, I'd like to at least try.

So, waiting for your feedback. Maybe someone here has built one in the past and has some experience to share?

    You aren't a professional player, nor are you a woodworker, but you want to build your own "DIY snooker table"?

    My advice? Unless you want to spend way too much money on tools, wood, slate, and hardware, and waste way too many months of your life (yes, months), then forget about it, and buy a good used snooker table.
