1986 Brunswick Gold Crown III Model AK with "W" Serial Number Prefix
I have a GC3 I purchased in 1986.
The serial number is W0009. I think that means it was made in the Wurlitzer plant in Corinth, Mississippi.
The model is "AK" which means it is wood.
The store I bought it from told me these things, but there is nothing on the internet to support that.
Does anybody know about Brunswick making pool tables in Corinth, Mississippi back in the 1980s, and could give me some more detail?
Thanks.

I've also heard from others that "AK" refers to the "woodgrain" top, and "copper tone" metal. This was in response to me asking around about those two-character codes in 2022.
The AK model was the gold crown III with woodgrain top and copper tone metal.
They had a JD model gold crown III with a black top, much rarer.
I've not heard or come across anything that supports the claim that a table with serial number prefix "W" was made at the Wurlitzer plant (but also nothing that negates it).
The fact that your dealer provided you with that information, and that we have evidence that supports at least one of those claims—I would think it reasonable to trust it to be true.
