   I have lived in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for 34 years. Dallas has a big pool scene. I played at Clicks Billiards on Alpha Road in the 1990s, but they closed that location long ago.

   If you are looking for a Brunswick Gold Crown pool table, don't pay too much. They are EVERYWHERE.

   Also, it's better to buy one that's already taken apart so you can see the bare slate. Last year, I bought an 8' Gold Crown pool table and the slate was really REALLY shitty. There were huge seam gaps and it wasn't very flat at all. I ended up dumping it. Be careful.
