9ft. Brunswick Balke Collender Monarch Pool Table for Sale in LA

I have one of the highly sought after antique 9-foot Brunswick Monarch pool/billiard table for sale as it is. The Brunswick Balke Collender Monarch is in wonderful condition but might need some restoration work.

The "Monarch" table was built on a cast iron leg system that had a large lion's head at each corner with the tails towards the center of the table.

According to the J. M. Brunswick-Balke-Collender Co. catalogue and some other reference (Disclaimer: The information here is excerpted from the original company sales catalogs and for informational purposes only. It will not always represent the specific details regarding each individual table.):

The Monarch: This magnificent table embodies great solidity and massiveness of construction, with elegance and grace of design. It is very ornamental, the sides being of wood tastefully inlaid with various colored mosaics, and the legs being of iron finished in black and gold. A leveling screw in the center of the feet assist in establishing a perfect level over the entire surface of the table. It is unique in style, and a departure from the established idea of a Billiard Table, and has met with much favor among those of acknowledged taste.

A very early example of the Brunswick Monarch table produced in the 1870s. Walnut background with extensive inlay of exotic woods on all surfaces. Gold accents. Highly desirable nine-foot size and slate playing surface.
