Value of a Schaaf Mfg. Pool Table

What is the value of a Schaaf pool table? I have one of these Schaaf billiard tables. Does anyone know the value of them?

    You should upload some detailed, clear photos of your Schaaf pool table.

    From there, we'll determine if it even is one (or if it is a Brunswick pool table that was simply serviced by Schaaf Manufacturing Co. This was a very common arrangement, and most of the pool tables popping up today with Schaaf Mfg. Co. name plates are some other brand of pool table, and Schaaf just affixed their name-plate in place of the original pool table manufacturer's (See the very bottom of the Schaaf Pool Tables page, just under the heading: "Info on Schaaf Pool Tables from user1317403503").

    If we then determine it is a Schaaf Mfg. Co. made pool table, we can identify the model from there, then begin to put a value on it.

    Hope these pics work, I’m no wiz at these electronics. My dad bought it from a pool hall I’m estimating @ 1960. I am moving and won’t have room for it in our patio home, so if anybody is interested it’s for sale also.

    So now after posting pics of the Schaaf pool table can you now put a value on it?

    This is most likely a Brunswick pool table that was simply serviced by Schaaf Mfg Co.

    You can actually see that the current Schaaf Mfg. Co. name place doesn't fit exactly into the recessed area.

    I honestly can't believe pool room owners allowed this type of thing, but I have read in several places and heard from several sources that it was very common.

    As far as a value it is going to be tough. The market is a buyers market right now, and one could probably find similar antique Brunswick pool tables with the original Brunswick nameplate, so one would reason that nobody would want what is basically a defaced pool table when they can find one which is not.

    Best way for you to value it is to monitor eBay listings and other classifieds for similar antique Brunswick pool tables, then price your a but lower due to the altered name plate.
