Value of a Brunswick Hawthorn Pool Table in Charlotte, NC

Value of a Brunswick Hawthorn Pool Table in Charlotte, NC

Hey all, I am new to the forums but have been reading up a lot.

I have a Brunswick Hawthorn from the early to mid 90's that I am trying to sell. My wife says it has to go. I have posted it online from anywhere from 1000-2000 but am not getting many bites. Am I asking too much for this table? It is an 8 foot, that is in great shape all over.

The shops I have spoken to say it is a fair price, but no one will do a consignment deal (one place offered me 400 to take it off my hands). I would love to just disassemble it and store it until we get a larger house, but I am concerned with the storage of the slate in an attic or closet.

Any ideas?

For a Brunswick Hawthorne pool table, I think you are in the ball park at $1,500.

Storing slate is not the issue. Storing the wooden rail system is. Extreme temperatures or humidity would cause problems. Typical attics and basements might become extreme in those areas. Something you alone can know.

I bought my pool table through Craig's list.

Your pool table looks to be in great shape, despite the black cloth. LOL.
