1990s Gandy Big G Pool Table Value

A Big G Gandy pool was purchased in the early 1990's. A recent flood in the basement has ruined the pool table and a replacement is needed. It is a professional grade oversized 8ft pool table in "Designer White" with burnished brass trim and drop pockets.

Note the Big G logo on the end of the table in the provided picture.

I recall that I paid over $5000 for it at the time. The store from which it was purchased is still in business but sales records for that time were lost in a fire. The insurance company is willing to compensate the original amount or replace it with a similar value table. It is my hope that you may have a resource that could provide a Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price new.

    MSRP for this exact model was $5265 if you bought it mid 1990s. The Big-G was their commercial-grade model.

    Unfortunately it is hard to find any print materials with a suggested retail price; Most pool table maker's catalogs from that era didn't list prices. Gandy included.

    However, I have a screenshot from their website in 1998 showing MSRPs of all of their models. Note the 2nd photo showing the additional $270 for the oversized-8-foot option.

    I also have the text from a dealer sheet I found online a long while back, but I am not sure it will suffice for insurance purposes.

    I can tell you that this is as good as you are going to get to a documented MSRP for the Gandy Big-G pool tables. Hope this helps.
