What Are These Pool Table Pocket Covers For?
I bought a Brunswick Liberty pool table a number of years ago, and in a box of accessories were these pocket cushions. There is one for each pocket. I can not find any thing about them.
I would like to know if they were standard Brunswick accessory or information anyone can give. I would like to know if there are more pieces needed, are they a rarity, and how old they may be?

The pieces are used to convert the pocket billiards table into a pocket-less billiards table.
In times past the items were used more than in todays world, simply because if you like billiards, you really hate the transition from real-rail to fake-rail-insert. Also, modern billiards tables are heated (a few degrees) with slick cloth (Simonis 300) for low friction, while pool is played with unheated tables with moderate friction cloth (Simonis 860).
