Reuse Same Cloth when Replacing Cushions
Can you reuse pool table cloth when replacing the cushions?
I just bought a Brunswick gold crown pool table and I had it recovered about two weeks ago. I since found out my cushions are weak I am going to replace the cushions and and my question is whether or not I can use the same cloth on the new rails, since it is only a month old?
I hate to buy more felt.

I suppose it is possible, but it will be hard to get it stretched properly when putting it back on without having the excess cloth to pull on.
You or the installer would have cut the excess off after stapling it the first time so you won't have that the second time around.
If you are doing it yourself I suppose it is at least worth a try before you buy more, but it's going to be a pain, if possible at all.
If you are using an installer, they probably won't entertain the suggestion to save the cloth use it again. Even if they did, your labor cost would likely be higher as it would take longer (possibly twice as long) to get the cloth stretched properly without having the excess to play with.
Good luck and let us know how you get on.
