Replace Rubber for Cushions

I have a 6-foot English style pool table I am restoring and have replaced the rubber for the cushions. I have used the L shaped rubber.

How do I know how to get the curve right for the pockets?

The previous rubber looks like it was trimmed but just don't know how to get the angle right.
