Replace Cushions and Cloth on ESPN Bristol Classic 90 Pool Table

I bought a used ESPN Bristol Classic 90 Billiard Table, it is a 90" pool table. The pool table looked solid but needed new felt and cushions.

When I took the panel off to replace the cushion and felt, I could not believe how it was constructed. The board on the underside of the cushion is glued and stapled. From what I can see there is no way to replace the cushions or felt.

I called the company and the rep said the same thing. He did not seem to care either. On the parts list there is a cushion panel that can be ordered, with no cloth of course.

Can someone tell me how to fix this situation?

    I feel for you. Those pool tables are complete junk and for what they cost new, they are meant to be throw-away e.g. replace vs. repair.

    If I were you I would cut my losses and chalk it up to a learning experience. What is the old saying? Lipstick on a pig?

    They were made by Sportcraft in China for ESPN. The model number is 5-2-32-960DS. The MSRP new was $800 and retailers didn't sell through the stock for the obvious reason that they were priced too high for the quality. Then we saw them on liquidation and overstock sites selling for between $100 and $300.

    One review, similar reaction to yours:

    Very poor design, the legs on the table are poorly put together, they are made out of Plastic! When you look at the picture they look nice and strong but that isn't the case. They really don't fit together well either. The legs should be stout and strong but these are very week.
