Question about pool table maintenance

My father bought a new pool table last week, put it in the garden. He always play pool with neighbour.

Yesterday, my father asked me to find a good way to maintain the pool table.

My father is a neophyte on playing pool. Me too.

So i want to collect some tips on how to maintain pool table. Before, we have a large collection of videos on tips of playing pool.

Brush (lightly) once a week, chalk the tip away from the table, pat a damp terry clothe towel once a month onto the cloth (wihtout movement) to lift out the chalk dust. {One pat, then rinse, wring out and then pat another small spot.}
