Pool table slate uneven after installation
I had an 8 foot 3 piece slate table installed two weeks ago. I noticed when playing yesterday that one of the slate seams is now slightly uneven - you can feel a slight difference in slate height when you run your finger across the seem.
Is this normal - table settling etc? What should be done to remedy the problem?
Should the rails and felt be removed to re-seal the seam?
The seams were bonded with beeswax if that helps.

Beeswax is the correct void agent but the wax simply mates the two edges, has no glue like nature.
The wooden wedges hold it level. Take a look on the floor. If you see a wood wedge about the size of domino, under the table - that's part of the problem.
I would think a decent installer would back up the job and stop by.
If your floor settled - it's on your dime. But if a wedge fell out or is missing (you can see a pattern and if one breaks the pattern and is missing) - that's an installation matter.

I agree. Installer will be coming back to remedy the problem.
