Lost Key to Ball Return Door in Coin-Op Pool Table
I have a United Billiards coin-operated pool table.
I've lost my key to the ball return door and can't get into it to release the balls. They are all stuck inside.
How can I open a locked ball return tray in a coin-op pool table?
Please help!

I own a Global coin-op pool table, and the first thing I did with it was check on the workings to find a way for the balls to bypass the internal rack and go immediately from the pockets to the external return area. You can accomplish this by bending some metal, inserting a piece of wood, etc, just don't introduce any new sharp edges!
If you're going to practice and play for years to come, why not save the effort and time of moving the balls again to start every game? I'm lucky that my pool table has duplicate openings on both ends to present the cue ball and the 15 object balls, so occasionally I reverse the diversion and break racks in the opposite direction to "rotate" the cloth wear.
My coin-op pool table has an access panel on the bottom, so if yours does also you may get lucky and be able to crawl inside halfway and reach your lock with a wrench and unscrew it. Of course, if you take off the (one-piece?) slate you could reach the lock and more easily perform the diversion job at the same time. By the way, I'll never own a 3-piece slate table; Coin-ops rule!
Short of that you'll probably need to get a locksmith's advice to pick the lock and possibly replace it. YouTube could probably show you how to pick a lock with two paper clips. Search YouTube under "Pick a file cabinet lock".
