Keeping Pool Table Spots Glued to the Cloth
I have the Brunswick Centenial cloth on my pool table and the spots won't stay stuck to it.
Any ideas?

After a while sometimes you have to replace them. The glue dries out and the use they take wears them out.

I can't get the spot to stick initially,The cloth has a Teflon finish and nothing seems to stick to it.I have marked a tiny spot w/ magic marker...Any more ideas?....Jim

Magic marker is better, mark both ends of the table and the center spot. A little dot at each diamond crosspoint helps with shooting drills and is inoculous otherwise.

Er..Er lets see. Not really considering it is not my table. On the other hand, if it were my table I think I would be tempted to try adding a small amount of some commerical glue to the spots, or send an email to one of the billiard supply houses and see if they have special spots for teflon. Now if you have tried all these things then I have no more ideas. Maybe some one else can come up with an answer. I'm sure there is a solution out there.

This week I'm finally getting my own pool table and I will want to mark out the head spot.
My buddy used a Magic Markerâ„¢ to mark the head spot for head ball placement and the spot got crusty.
What is a good marker to use that won't corrupt the cloth?
There are a lot of markers out there, so please be brand name specific.
