Is it Save to Move an Assembled Pool Table?

Is it harmful to move a pool table while it is assembled? For example, if I need to have carpets cleaned or something, can I safely slide the pool table around the room or have several people pick it up and move it around the room while the billiard table is still put together?

    Incorrect moving and lifting techniques can definitely damage the slate or the frame of your billiard table. Also, your table might have been professionally leveled in that specific spot. If so, the chances of you returning it to the same spot and it being perfectly level are unlikely.
