How to Disassemble an All Tech D8 Pool Table

How to Disassemble an All Tech D8 Pool Table

How do I disassemble an All-Tech D8 pool table?

We need to get this pool table out of my grandfathers basement.

I’m assuming I will need the key to unlock this bottom section. The problem is that I can’t find the keys that originally came with the pool table. Is there anywhere online I can buy replacements?

I am also trying to figure out if this is single piece slate or a three piece slate. I can’t tell by looking at it from the bottom.

Any help or tips on this would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I don't have the assembly instructions for this particular model.

It is possible that you may be able to remove the legs without having to open the locked compartment. Can you share some clear photos of where the legs mount to the main table from underneath?

If it helps, the model name is the All-Tech "Diplomat" pool table (e.g. the "D8", I believe, represents the 8-footer version).

In the brochure for the Diplomat pool table, it says that it has a one-piece ⅞" thick slate. That's going to be one seriously heavy (and fragile) piece of slate. Make sure you crate it properly before moving.
