How is an L77 Cushion Mounted to the Rail?
I'm building my own pool table and have L77 bumpers available. An L77 pool/snooker table bumper has an "L" shape:
How are L77 cushions placed on the pool table rail? Is it with the long side parallel to the top of the rail, or is it at an angle?
In the beautiful picture below, is it supposed to be like option A or option B?
I can find plenty of cross section diagrams of rails with K66 bumpers, but none for L77 cushions.

Neither of those options are correct.
The backing is the narrower flat side (.750" / ~19mm). That is affixed to the vertical side of the rail, with the top flush with the top of the rail (just as shown in your first image.
By the way, you said you are building a "pool table" (not a snooker table). L77 cushions are used on snooker tables, and aren't standard on a pool table. I recommend investing in the proper cushions unless you are actually building a snooker table.
