Help Fixing Bumper Pool Table
Good morning:
I inherited a vintage (50's) bumper pool table from my grandmother. I purchased new bulbs and rubber cushions and when I plugged it in nothing happened. I am hoping you can help me troubleshoot this and get the cushions lit. I am not sure where to locate a wiring schematic. It is a very simple design with a transformer (and a plug past the transformer which works) 2 fuses (one 3 and one 6 amp Buss type) and then the twelve bulbs. Any help that you can offer would be much appreciated.

Get a Multi-meter and trace where there is a break in the power circuits.

Any tips on how to go about that? I am not the best with a multimeter but with good direction I could figure it out I am sure.

Find the power comming out of the power supply unit. Measure it wiht the multimeter at the terminal. Trace the wire with your hand to its next destination and measure it there. If it still looks OK, continue on until the end of the wire.
Do the same for the ground wire (same probability of being bad).
If the power is getting to all the lights and none of the lights are on, then either the lights are bad, the sockets are bad, or a connection in the socket is bad (corroded). remove light bulb and check for corrosion. All the metal parts should look silver (tin actually).

I have a hunch the power supply is bad. There does not seem to be any voltage to it. I assume I can replace it?any idea how the wires should go on. I want to make sure it was rewired properly
