Disassembly and Moving of a 7-foot Fischer Pool Table
I was offered a 7-foot Fischer pool with red cloth and automatic ball return.
The pool table is in decent condition. I would rate it at about a 6 out of 10.
My questions are:
- How hard is it to take apart and move it?
- Is it worth the trouble?
- Does it have a one-piece slate (or marble) bed, or does it have a two- or 3-piece slate bed?

We would have to see photos in order to answer your questions.
There's a chance that if we can identify the model, I can cross reference it with a brochure which may indicate the slate type and format.
Various Fischer pool tables used one-piece slate, others used three-piece. Some used slate, some used marble.
Some were residential-grade, others were commercial grade, with quite a difference in build quality.
Difficulty to disassemble, move, and reassemble is subjective and depends on your particular level of skill and experience with such things.

I have seen Fischer pool tables with all three types of slate that you have mentioned.
- 3-piece slate
- 1-piece marble
- 1-piece slate
If its a one-piece (marble or slate), I recommend staying away because they are very heavy, and the frames on these do not come apart so if you have tight turns the frame may not fit into your house.
