Coin-Op Pool Table Cue Ball Doesn't Return
I just picked up a coin-op Fischer pool table and the cue ball return doesn't work. It has been wounded.
The coin slot had been replaced with wood and stuff you use for cabinets.
The main issue is that the cue ball doesn’t return to proper place.
Any information to resolve this issue will be greatly appreciated.

There isn't really any way to help you without knowing what model Fischer pool table you have, and seeing photos.
Also would need more detail on what does happen when the cue ball goes into a pocket.
But in general - are you certain you have the correct cue ball? Coin-op pool tables distinguish the cue ball from the other balls in one of two ways:
- The cue ball is slightly larger (usually about 1/8-inch bigger in diameter than the standard 2.25-inch object ball), or
- The cue ball has a magnetized center core.
Whether or not you have the correct cue ball for your exact model is the first thing I would investigate.

Thank you. I will check on cue ball size and type today, and will post outcome.

I restored a vintage coin-op Valley bumper-pool table and learned a lot about how these things work.
You have to pull out the coin return mechanism and look inside to see what's what and what is actually happening. Put balls into the pockets and watch them flow through return mechanism.

The pool table didn't come with a coin box, they ripped it out.
