Sounds like a job for a custom carpenter to me.

When you say wrap around the table just what are you referring to. And also styles. Can you be a bit clearer in your description?

Sorry I was not so clear earlier. I took a couple of pictures of the pool table to give you an idea of what I mean. I hope this helps.
I peeled off some of the damaged material and have found this plyboard underneath. I wish to find a new sticker or covering or whatever you would call it to wrap back around the pool table and cover the plyboard.

I don't now where you live, but I think it is a job for a professional table repair person who knows what they doing. Or maybe you can Google the topic and see what comes up. If you get a local carpenter make sure he knows what he is doing and what he is dealing with.

You can get the rest of the Formica off of the table with a heat gun and toluene.
Try heating and separating from the top with a strong putty knife then get some toluene in there. Toluene I have been told is the active solvent in contact cement. You can replace it with counter-top laminate. Better yet is what they call vertical grade laminate (Formica, Wilsonart, etc) If you haven't done this before see if you can find a counter-top guy to help.
Another approach that works well and looks very cool (really!) is taking the body of the table to the local pickup truck sprayliner shop. The coating is amazingly tough, relatively inexpensive and covers just about any bad spots. They can mask off anything and it will look like a brand new pool table.

I would say, use contact paper. They make it hundreds of ways now, with the laminate surface on the table currently, it is a perfect medium to screen the contact paper up. They make it to look like every wood imaginable, as well as metal finishes. I would leave the castings in place, and replace ugly brown laminate, if that is what it has, more than likely and relplace it with stainless contact paper. Use soap and a squigee to blow out the bubbles. Should look nice. Wrap it all up with some Simonis or Centennial and your good to go. CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP...
