Assembling quality

Hello. Do you think I am unreasonable asking the installer to redo the table if I am able to feel with my hand, through the felt, that one peace of slate is higher then the other (rolling a ball a certain way shows that too)? Friends tell me that I am too picky and the level of quality I demand belongs to $100,000 table. What do you think? I appreciate your input.
