It is a coin-operated bumper pool table produced by Williams Mfg. Co., of Chicago, IL sometime around November 1955.
Yours is a "Deluxe" Bank-Pool "Model 148" (the standard bank pool table is "Model 140".
There were 6 or so versions of the Williams bumper pool table:
- Williams Bumper Pool Model 140 - "Bank Pool"
- Williams Bumper Pool Model 148 - "Deluxe Bank Pool"
- Williams Bumper Pool Model 152 - "Senior Deluxe Bank Pool"
- Williams Bumper Pool Model 161 - "Senior Deluxe Lite-Up Bank Pool"
- Williams Bumper Pool Model 163 - "3-Hole Deluxe Bank Pool Lite"
- Williams Bumper Pool Model 172 - "Deluxe Bank Pool w/Magic Top"
Here's a price list from the January 7, 1956 issue of "Cash Box" magazine. It shows us that the MSRP was around $349 USD.
Here's an ad from the May 26th 1956 issue of Billboard magazine:
Here's the advertising photos for the model 140 bank-pool table version. Very similar to your "Deluxe" version.
