Identifying Maker and Model of a 6-Leg Pool Table
I’ve just picked up a 6-leg pool table and can’t find anything on it to identify it. Is there any specific place or other information I should know about where to look for an manufacturer ID?
All of the timbers have the number 4087 stamped on them as well as some Roman numerals to show which part goes where.
I need to get some pockets and new felt and wanted to know which sort I should get.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you!

Nothing stands out from the photos that would lead us to one manufacturer or another.
Is that a 6' x 12' snooker table?
Also, in the photo above of the slates, is that a word (or words) written on the edge of one piece? If so, what does it say. I can't make it out in the photo.

I’m not sure what the writing on the slate says.
I found out that it is a Melbourne-made 8-leg 6' X 12' Alcock "Commonwealth" snooker table from 1901.
The model name "Commonwealth".
