How to Identify an Unknown Pool Table
I need help identifying a pool table. Any info on it would be greatly appreciated.
I'm looking to buy my first table and wanted to gather some more information about this one, if possible.
The current owner never knew the make or model.

Unfortunately, there isn't anything in those photos that can identify the pool table manufacturer or it's model name.
It looks like it might be from the early 1980s, but can't be sure. It's about as generic as they come.
I wouldn't pay any more than a few hundred for it at best.
Here are a few things to consider:
- You'll spend a few hundred to have it professionally set up in your new location, and on top of that, you will likely want to replace the cushions and cloth - another few hundred dollars.
- It is hard to tell from the photos, but it looks like someone screwed a piece of wood to the bottom of the ball return tray, perhaps to keep the balls from falling out?
- It's a buyer's market. There are LOTS of used pool tables for sale on classified sites, etc. and they come up for sale by the hundreds every day. In some cases, people are literally giving them away for free just to get rid of them. If you aren't in a rush, I would wait it out unless this one is very cheap.
Good luck either way, and do let us know what you end up doing!
