Hey I am new here but i have been playing for 3 years but i was wondering what is APA rackless night?

djkx1 on 1/15/2008 11:35:24 AMI've never played APA but I think it is winner breaks, so if you have a rackless night I guess that means you won all your games. I could be wrong, but thats my guess.

Thats what I thought but I also think it might be like on the snap. Which is when the 8-ball goes immediately on the break.

In the APA, a rackless night is when you win the break and then win all of your required number of games, thus rackless (you did not have to rack at anytime).

Wow I've never heard of "rackless night" before.
I've only had few disastrous ones when I started playing billiards, and I hope to have rackless one soon.
Is that just what you guys call it, or is it the official lingo?
Either way, I've never had a rackless night!
I got my first rackless win in APA 8ball last night in a 2/3 race! :)
This is my second year in a billiards league (and my first year in APA 8 ball).
Just play your game, even if you need to be super defensive, you will get it. Unless there is something very wrong with the player ranks in your local league, in which case you should talk to your team captain, or think about joining a different league. I started in BCA 9 ball. The rank system is less complicated and it was a lot of fun.

A rackless night is where you win the lag so you do not have to rack first. Then you win all the required number of games to your skill level. Ive had five of them and its only my 1st year 2nd session. It's not that hard. I cant do anything with the patches except give them to my little brother.
