Predator SE-14 Cue or SE-15 Gladius or Longoni Cue Wanted
Like the title says I've been looking around for the following:
- Predator SE-14 Cue
- Predator SE-15 Cue
- Gladius Cue
- Longoni Octagonal Cue
I know a few players with them but they don't want to come off them or they are asking 3 times original sales price.
I am looking for someone that has one for sale at a reasonable price. I will also look at Longoni octagonal cues since I had one and that's who makes the Predator SE-14 cues and Predator SE-15 cues.
If you know of someone selling one please send me that way as-well.

@shawneebear - I have an SE-14 # 68 of 100 made. I love this cue and played with it for many years and still do every now and then I saw your post and am ready to part with it as I have so many cues, and my player is now a Titlist conversion made by Steve Klein.

Price-wise, I was looking for about $2500 for the Predator SE-14 cue.
You can email me at aumkp2@gmail.com or call me at (972) 375-2529.
If you want to send me your info, I will email you some pics of the pool cue.

Too expensive for my taste. I do appreciate the offer.

I was curious about the Predator SE14 Gladius cue so I did some research on it.
MSRP was $1595 and you could get it from retailers for $1350 with discounts.
From what I can see it isn't made from any overly-expensive materials, and isn't overly intricate, etc. other than a weird octagon shaped handle.
What am I missing that would cause this cue to sell at a price point of $1350 at retail (other than the limited supply)? And the $2500 being asked after-market?
Help to understand what I am missing here.
Is it the fact that it's made in Italy through Longoni? I did find the original sales blurb from Predator. It mentions "Nickel Inlays", I guess that could be part of it.
THE GLADIUS SPECIAL EDITIONS – WITH AN OCTAGONAL HANDLE THAT’S 8 KINDS OF INTIMIDATING.
When you step up to the table wielding Gladius XIV or XV, your opponents will most certainly be on guard. With only 100 of each being made and each one with that extremely rare octagonal handle, chances are, most people have never seen anything like it before. Meticulously crafted in Italy by Longoni with Curly Maple, Ebony and Micarta inlays offsetting nickel inlays of a sword or Predator cat, the Gladius series combines stunning design with the unmatched engineering of a Predator 2nd generation. It’s enough to make you wish you were dueling to the death.
P.S. by the way, I mean no disrespect by questioning the pricing offered here earlier. I am just looking to learn more about a series of cues with which I am not as familiar as I would like to be.

No, you're right on target actually. I normally see them around $1000 used.
I have never seen a 2k+ price tag on one. For that you might as well start looking at true monster custom cues.
I had a Longoni collector cue which I bought for $1000 and had refinished due to the older lacquer only it was un-played but sold it for $1500 in brand new condition. Those actually had silver inlays.
People can ask whatever they want but it's always a buyers market there's a Predator SE-14 cue close to me for $1200.
