Meucci Originals MO-8 Chess Cue Wanted
I'm looking for a Meucci MO-8 Chess cue.
Specifically, I am looking for the first run of the MO-8 chess cue. It has the small style bumper, a brass pin NOT Stainless Steel (the screw that is on the butt).
It has "MEUCCI ORIGINALS" in block writing and yellow points. I have found one in new never played condition for 1000$ but the guy that owns it isn't sure he wants to sell it.
I am NOT interested in the second run of the cue! If Meucci is written in Script PLEASE do not contact me!
If you would be interested in a trade I have a Meucci SE-4 in 95% plus condition that has 2 matching shafts, Moori tips and IVORY ferrules on both shafts that is worth over 1000$. I would consider trading for a MO-8 in the same condition.

Did Pat Meyer find his Meucci Original MO-8? if not there's one on eBay.
I've seen this cue and the bottom portion looks like Ivory around the chess pieces. I think the butt piece has been replaced, but the cue is in very good condition. Look for eBay Item #280362582682.

My dad has a Meucci MO-8. It's actually in my car right now and is in fairly good condition just needs a new tip. But I don't think he's looking to sell it, as he will probably give it to me some day and maybe his fathers old Balabushka. On that day I'll let you know.
I'm partial to more modern cues myself. I use a Poison Nitro NI4.
Nothing has been replaced on the Meucci MO-8. It was used when my father played in leagues and he has only used it once or twice since the late 1980s.

I have an MO-8 Meucci Original Chess Player cue. The shaft has been replaced with a new Black Dot Meucci shaft.
This Meucci MO-8 was used back in the 70's and 80's in tournament play. There are some hairline cracks in the ivory. Someone coated the cracks with something to protect the pieces.
I can send pictures if anyone is interested.
Contact me at sbworthington@gmail.com if you are interested and please write "Meucci Cue" in subject line or I might delete your reply.
I am looking to sell it, not trade, but I am not sure on the price yet. I might put it on eBay for a while to drum up interest.
