Value of My 1980s Meucci Cue with Autographs

Value of My 1980s Meucci Cue with Autographs

I have a Meucci pool cue that I got as a gift back in the late 1980s.

During my time in the BCA, I was able to acquire a number of autographs on the shaft. There's one from Jennette Lee and, more importantly, one from Ron Allen from when I was hanging out with him at the Riviera back in the mid 2010s.

I am aware that items are generally as valuable as it is to the person that wants to buy it but what would be a good place to start for an auction?

The Robin Dobson autograph is smudged. There are others but i'm not sure who they are. :)

Thanks in Advance,
Skye

It's a Meucci E-1 cue from the Meucci European series (perhaps with a stain color variation). It's a low-end cue from one of their economy cue series. In general they are worth between $50 and $150 depending on condition, give or take.

The shaft with the signatures doesn't appear to belong with that cue. It's got a different joint collar and isn't like any Meucci shaft I've ever seen. This being the case, I don't think you'd necessarily want to pair the two together for a sale. If I'm missing something here, please let me know.

For the shaft with the signatures, on it's own, it's almost impossible to value with out further information. We'll need to understand the provenance. First, we need an itemized list of each signature, along with information on when and where you received each one. The more information you have that can be verified, the better it is for value.

    Cool. good to know.

Yeah, I didn't want anyone marking up my Meucci shaft at the time. It is a separate shaft obviously.

It is more sentimental to me as I hung out with Ronnie Allen at the Riviera a couple years before he died, so the cue is not for sale anyhow... I was just wondering.
