Meucci JR-5 Jim Rempe Cue

I've been playing pool for years, always played with a CueTec Earl Strickland. Then I drifted away from the game and sold it.

Yesterday I came across a Craigslist add for a Meucci JR-5 for $250.00. Went and looked at it, condition is an 8 out of 10.

I ended up picking up the cue for $225 with a leather 2x2 case.

Was that a decent deal?

Any info on this cue?

    You got a steal of a deal. If you ever want to sell this, please let me know.

    It is part of the Jimmy Rempe JR2 series. This is the second edition of Jim Rempe cues put out by Meucci.

    No Blue Books and the big blue book, has hardly any Meucci pricing.

    I just bought this cue signed by Robert Meucci himself and it is a 10 of 10 and it was less than $700 shipped.
