Zan Cue Tips

Hi,

I'm quite new to billiards forum. My name is Ozzy, I currently play a Lucasi L-D2 @ 18oz.

My question is regarding the Zan cue tips - the blue colored ones.

I recently visited the local billiards store in Singapore and was looking to change my G-Core tips to try out something new. Greg, the owner, recommended me to try out the new Zan tips, so, I took a Hard tip to give it a shot.

I have tried googling for Zan tips - they are apparently all the rage in Japan - I can't seem to find a dedicated website or any other information source about these tips. Very few websites carry them in stock. They seem more like a rarity, unless they are literally "dead new", in which case, I understand that they are still unknown.

Has anyone tried Zan tips at all? Also, does anybody know any websites which provide some real information about these tips?

    I have been using zan soft tip for about 3 months now and i like it as well as any layered tip. I works very very well and seems to cut down on miss cues. I would buy another.
