What Model and Year is this Sampaio Pool Cue?
I'm trying to find out what model Sampaio cue this is and what year it was made.
I know they were made from 1880 to the 1960's and they also made one off custom items for customers in the early years.
My dad passed away back in 1986 and he won this cue in a pool game. I've held onto it all this time.
Thanks everyone for your time I appreciate it.

It is a Sampaio "The Princess" cue.
They were made in 1964.
It features a hornbeam wood butt, mop dots, and ebony and ivory rings.
It is worth around $1200 in "98%" condition. $950 in "90%" condition.

Adding to the great information above:
- The Sampaio Princess cue is well-known, and well-liked by collectors for it's flower design.
- The cues were made in Portugal
- The Sampaio Princess cue was featured in the 1964 Sampaio catalog.
- The line was created for, and imported by J-S Sales Co. Inc. of Mount Vernon, NY (which imported roughly 60000 Sampaio cues anually). Ben Shimel, the founder and then-owner of J-S Sales, was impressed with the quality of the Sampaio cues and visited the Sampaio family in 1962. A joint venture resulted and a new line of cues meeting American standards were developed. Shimel invested in and guided the redesign from billiard to pool cues as pocket billiards was unknown in Portugal.
The catalog description was as follows:
Sampaio "The Princess" Cue
One-piece hornbeam butt, floral engraved handle with black mother-of-pearl dots in the centers of the flowers between ebony and ivory rings at top and bottom.
Here's the Sampaio Princess cue's entry in the 3rd Edition of the Blue Book of Pool Cues:
