TGL Inlaid Cue? Philippine Cue Quality and Concern
Hello,
I'm looking for a little advice/help.
I was shooting at a local tournament this weekend at a place that sold pool cues. They had mostly the familiar names, Meucci, McDermott, Viking and a host of others. And out of all of the cues, there was one that really caught my eye and I've been beating myself up over it for the last three days.
The manufacturer is listed as TGL and that's it, it's a sharp looking que and comes with two shafts. It has an original price of $646 (which I'm sure is inflated) and they have it marked down to $260.
I currently shoot with a Meucci "hooks" which I've had for 25 years or so and love but thought it was time to try something new and this cue is one of a very few that's ever caught my eye.
Does anyone have any information on these cues as far as quality? The only thing I've been able to find is that they're hand made in the Philippines.
Any information would greatly be appreciated.
Thanks!
