Meucci MO6 Cue Info
If my Meucci MO6 cue doesn’t have the dots between the rectangle inlays on the butt, should I assume it’s counterfeit Meucci Originals MO-6 pool cue?
I bought the cue over 30 years ago.

No, based on what I see in that single photo above, I wouldn't make that assumption. I've seen at least 5 examples Meucci Originals MO-6 cues without those circles (shared a few below).
I've come to understand that it's only the earliest of Meucci MO6 cues having those circle inlays. The only supporting evidence I have to that effect is from a guy well known in the Meucci collectors / Meucci dealer community. Here's the gist:

Seems like the older very first ones had it, but then later ones didn't. Can anyone confirm?Darrin M. Morrow:
Correct. The original brochure has those little circles and will have a stainless joint as well.If anyone has anything official to back that up, please share below.
Your Meucci MO 6 cue appears to be in great shape, and it's a highly sought-after Meucci Originals model.
Can we see the rest of the Meucci Originals MO-6 cue, including the bumper, joint pin, and shaft insert?
