McDermott "Wanted Dead or Alive" Cue ID, Age, and Value
I am curious about this McDermott cue stick.
It features a "wanted dead or alive" sign like an old western scene.
A price for the cue would be nice, and I would also like to know it's age.

This is a McDermott MC12 "Western" pool cue.
It retailed for $235 when new. It's value today would be around $200 give or take.
I am unsure of it's age, but Mueller's staff may be able to help.
It was a pool cue from a private label line created for billiard distributor Mueller's Sporting Goods. According to McDermott Cue:
Private Label cues were exclusively made for distributors such as Great Lakes Darts, Mueller’s Sporting Goods, and billiard associations. These cues were never featured in a McDermott catalog, but instead were sold through the companies that commissioned McDermott to produce them.

I have this McDermott MC12 cue.
I bought it in 1997 through the JC Penney’s catalog.
I’ve only had to change the tip a few times and the rubber on the butt once. It is still in excellent condition.
I love this cue and I have had it almost 30 years.

I have the McDermott MC11 (Wolf) cue that I won in a raffle in 1995. I handed it to my wife as I stepped off the stage, a few months before we married, hoping she'd start playing but she never did.
I wound up in our cue rack. Five years later I discovered the shaft was bent. Then the dealer said it wasn't covered under warranty.
So it's been my home breaking cue for 25 years.
I just ordered a Rhino shaft with its pin style, and looking forward to giving it a shot.
