Is This An Old Rare Mali Pool Cue?
Hey guys -
I am new to pool an recently inherited a box of stuff which included this cue in a case. I figured out it was an old Mali by comparing the very** worn sticker to others I found online. I was unable to find any pictures of this exact cue..and am wondering if it has any rarity.
Has anyone seen one of these before or know about these cues? I recently got into pool and bought a table, and would like to have a nice cue but am not sure if this is what I need.
I tried to capture it in the pictures, but the top part of the stick seems to be broken and missing the inner threading. Is it possible to replace the top wooden part of this stick? The base seems to be in fine condition...other than the faded and slight scuff marks.
I am curious to know if this thing is worth anything...a gem or just something not worth it to mess with.
I am new here and appreciate any feedback!

Few sticks I am aware of in the condition your photos reveal - would be worth anything. The rarity of a cue stick is interesting but the condition and playability are everything.
From what little can be gleaned from the photos (there are none showing the tip, joint threads on one side or a close up of the joint damage, the stick is worthless.
Of some note, the joint can probably be repaired and the butt half refinished. But the tip, shaft and fore end is somewhat of a replacement item.
From what little the photos show, the cue could make fine kindling ;)

I couldn't agree more with what Zeke said, I'm not a cue expert but your so right, would make for great kindling.
