Info on Brunswick "Personal" Pool Cue
I am looking for an ID and information on this Brunswick pool cue.
It has the word "Personal" which is inlaid into the butt sleeve in a brass-like material.
It also has a sticker which says:
Kiln dried Canadian maple processed in Japan
Thanks in advance.

It is a late 1960s Brunswick "The Personal" pool cue.
These were made for Brunswick on contract by Schmelke Cue co. (as was common for them to do).
It is shown below from the 1969 Brunswick pool cue catalog.
Brunswick "The Personal" Pool Cue
Brunswick's finest two-piece cue features a traditional 4 prong rosewood [illegible] butt with tooled leather wrap. A Brunswick uni-shaft joint made of [illegible] for added strength, a Canadian maple shaft with professional taper; a pro-molded French tip [illegible], Brunswick's exclusive slip finish, and a silver-plated name plate. Available in 18 to 21 oz. weights.

I was also told that any cues that have the numbers stamped in the butt and the shaft were final finished by ADAM before being shipped back to Brunswick. This is why they stamped serial numbers on them so the shaft and butt from Schmelke would not get mixed up with another cue during the finishing process.
Why Brunswick made the decision to take that part of the process away from Schmelke is beyond me but I assume it was somehow cheaper to ship the blanks to Japan rather than keep them in Wisconsin!
You can find this cue without the numbers, and those ones were made start-to-finish by Schmelke.
